A Rich Experience
With multiple different organizations under their umbrella, The Forks North Portage wanted to streamline their website and give users a feeling of experiencing the richness of The Forks online. The Forks offers a unique blend of affordable quality programming that cannot be found anywhere else in Manitoba, from shopping and dining to numerous events happening throughout the year. The main task was organizing the current site information to make it more clear and user-intuitive.
Warm and welcoming colours and fonts were chosen to match the brand while being easy to read. Current events were made very visible on the home page for tourists and locals looking to visit, while large-scale imagery helps to capture the experiential feeling of the historical meeting place. The result is a friendly, open and inviting site that makes users feel as special as they do when they experience The Forks in person.
