DEL Communications is a forward-thinking layout and production company, serving clients in a variety of industries. However, the somewhat dated aesthetic of the firm’s website was preventing prospects from seeing DEL as a current, competitive choice within the publishing industry. On top of that, the general public’s unfamiliarity with the publishing process stood in the way of DEL’s ability to grow its business. DEL asked us to revitalize their website in hopes of overcoming these obstacles.
We wanted prospective clients to see DEL as a competitive and competent communications organization. We used a modern design and an intuitive scrolling parallax format to position DEL as an adaptable, media-savvy firm, able to stay on top of the ever-changing trends of the communications industry. Simultaneously, our easy-to-grasp information design provided content to readers in a palatable way. Rather than including portfolio pieces on the new site, which requires professional photography and constant updating, we linked to Issu, where DEL’s ongoing work already lives and could really shine.
